Treasurer

Role description

Throughout entire event:

The Finance Lead/Treasurer takes charge of creating a conference bank account, arranging conference insurance and deposits, creating a conference budget, managing expenses and creating financial reports.

Ensures financial aid support is well taken care of by financial aid manager.

Before event:

Manages and organizes the finances and budget of the conference.

Oversees operations from financial aid support committee and sponsorship committee

A bank account for the conference is needed.

During

• transfers sales collected from ticketing over to conference account.

(Note: It is advisable to hire a freelance accountant or company to handle the revenue and to settle bills for expenses occurred during event organisation since most accounts will be in Thai. )

After

• Pays bills.
• Sums up the books.
• Makes a financial report.
• Gets the auditors to audit.
